THE AUDOMAROIS FOREST

The Audomarois forest is the best place to recharge your batteries among old oak trees.

THE RIHOULT CLAIRMARAIS FOREST

After a boat trip in the marsh, you can easily return to your roots in this beautiful forest that is home to several nocturnal birds of prey. Owls and grey herons will guide your walk through the flora of Rihoult, past the monk-dug pond of Harchelles to the important pilgrimage site of the Clairmarais grotto.

THE TOURNEHEM FOREST

The Tournehem forest in the Hem Valley is an amazing, tranquil landscape strewed with a multitude of former chalk quarries that are today reforested. A chapel  lies in the heart of the forest, and the 15th century mysterious Guémy Chapel stands beyond the forest on the Saint Louis mount.

THE EPERLECQUES FOREST

A witness to the Second World War, the Eperlecques forest presents a hilly landscape, resulting from bombardments aimed at the nearby bunker. This bunker was supposed to be a V2 launching base to annihilate London and Antwerp. The war remains present and ever perceptible in this part of the woods.
