Founded in the 19th century, the municipal school of Fine Art has produced some artists of renown who left their mark on art history of the 19th and 20th centuries (Alphonse Deneuville, Léon Belly, Jules Joets).

Now redubbed the “Art School”, it offers courses in a wide range of techniques (including sculpture, painting, drawing, architecture, ceramics, graphic design and contemporary art) to develop students’ creativity and knowledge of art history and the current arts scene.

The school is attended by over three hundred students of all ages.

The teaching staff seek to offer students a demanding and high level syllabus, to ensure that the hours spent at the school are both creative and enjoyable!
